On July 29th, Owen Equipment Kent had the pleasure of representing the company and sponsoring a hole at the IESS-AWWA Annual Golf Tournament. We supplied golf towels as well as tees to be given away at the event, which were available in the giveaway bags that attendees received.
According to the American Water Works Association, the event was able to raise an impressive $3,500 for college scholarships! AWWA put some of this contribution toward their One AWWA Operator Scholarship, which offers water and wastewater operators funding for continuing education, certification, training, and conference attendance through AWWA Water Equation’s partnership with local AWWA Sections.
